CDC's Eviction Moratorium Extended Until January 31, 2021

The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 (Act) went into effect on December 27, 2020. The Act extended the residential eviction ban put in place under the Center for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC's) Agency Order titled Temporary Halt in Residential Evictions to Prevent the Further Spread of COVID-19 (Order). The Order went into effect on September 4, 2020. The Act extends the Order's residential eviction ban until January 31, 2021.
