Your donation allows us to help individuals and families with obtaining homes. Homeownership is one of social drives of quality of life because it provides housing security. Owning a home allows individuals to obtain equity in their home and transfer that home to future generations. African Americans has the lowest homeownership percentage in the state at 34% (lower than any other group in 4 decades) compared to white / Caucasian’s at 69%, Asians / Pacific Islanders at 63%, Hispanic / Latines at 47% and Indigenous at 55%.
